During Q2 2021 investors call, AMD CEO and President, Dr. Lisa Su confirms that AMD Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series CPU is on track for 2022 release. AMD Zen 4 would be the successor of refreshed Zen 3+ which is expected at the end of this year to compete Intel’s Alder Lake-S.

According to latest rumors, the upcoming AMD Zen 4 codename “Raphael” Ryzen 7000 series desktop CPUs will be announced in September to October 2022, and release date in October to November 2022. Rumors also said there will be a Zen 3+ coming in late 2021 to early 2022.
