Intel Z890 and AMD X770 Motherboards May Coming in Q3 of 2024

AMD and Intel are gearing up to launch major new motherboard platforms in the second half of 2024, according to recent reports. Both chipmakers will be transitioning to new CPU sockets and chipsets that enable next-generation tech capabilities.

Intel plans to unveil its 800-series motherboards and LGA 1851 socket to support its upcoming Arrow Lake desktop CPUs. The new platform will potentially offer up to 60 high-speed IO lanes, dual-channel DDR5-6400 memory, WiFi 7, PCIe Gen 5, and more.
